Highlights

We had a great vacation and Addie LOVED every minute of it. Matilda was great too, even though the weather was a bit HOT (95+). The resort was awesome, lunch at the castle, Kali River Rapids, Nemo show, Fantasmic, swimming and so much more! Here's a sweet picture of the girls on our way home.

Day 1: Magic Kingdom

The first day we all slept in trying to adjust to Florida time, then after breakfast we headed to Magic Kingdom. Addie (and all of us) were a little overwhelmed at first, but quickly got into the excitement once we met Alice, Mr. Rabbit and rode the Teacups and the Buzz Lightyear ride(twice). The big surprise we had that day was having lunch INSIDE Cinderella's castle with all the princesses. It was so sweet, even Matilda got a kiss from Snow White :)

We arrived.........

We had a great flight to Denver and then on to Orlando, both girls were extremely well behaved. Even though we all got up at 5am, none of us slept much on the flights. I think we were all too excited, except Matilda who cat napped like normal. Our flight was late into Denver and our connecting flight was about 50 gates away, but we made it just in time. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World which provided our transportation and also picked up our bags! Our room was decorated in a Nemo theme and was comfortable. We headed to the pool right away which was perfect timing to see the fireworks at Epcot. Kelly picked up Addie so she could see the fireworks better and she yelled "Yea Disney" for the whole pool to hear, everyone laughed at her excitement !It was Matilda's first time in a pool and she loved it too! She couldn't stop splashing and laughing at all the kids.

Let the memories begin........

Last week we took Addie and Matilda to Walt Disney World, the first family vacation of many more to come I'm sure! We kicked off the vacation with Addie and I getting our nails done and then staying in a hotel the night before. It set the tone for an awesome/silly trip! I couldn't sleep the night before the plane trip, which was a blessing since I realized I forgot to pack my shorts! My awesome husband drove back home and got them for me (don't feel too bad for him, it's only 10 minutes from the hotel/airport). Here are pics getting ready and the first day!
