HAPPY HALLOWEEN

It's been a busy day already. This morning Addie and I went to the Children's Museum for a Halloween Puppet Show and a parade. We meet a few from our play group. The puppet show was about a ghost stealing candy. Addie loved it and yelled out for the ghost when it was fairly quiet. Here's a few pictures, I didn't get as many as I wanted since it was so busy and all the kids were running from area to area. Tonight we are going trick-or-treating to our neighbors and a friends house.

Who needs TV or toys to have fun?

Here's a short video of Addie and Simba. I'm not sure who had more fun?

Paint, Paint, Paint!

Addie: No, really, Mommy this will make my hair grow!
Okay she didn't quite say that, but she had a great time painting her hair. Maybe my baby wanted to save trees and not use the paper right in front of her? Or maybe since she ran out of arm space the next logical area to paint was her head?

Art Class

Addie and I have a few activities during the week, right now I take her to a music and art class. So between playdates, classes and going to book babies or OMSI, we stay pretty busy. But we have plenty days where we just hang out and walk to the park or play in her play area. It's crazy how fast the days go, they NEVER went this fast while I was working. Here is a quick video of Addie at her art class a couple of weeks ago.

For Grandma Pam

Okay Grandma Pam, I'll try and post more often, and thank you for checking out the blog everyday!

I can't believe Friday is Halloween already. We had a great weekend. Addie and I went with Christina, baby Emma and Aunt Traci to the pumpkin patch on Sat. Addie rode on her first pony! She was so excited and I can't wait too see the pictures! Next we went through the small hay maze and Addie had a blast. Funny how the smallest things give the best smiles and laughs for the little ones. And today we were busy painting our pumpkins (after Addie's 3.5 hour nap!). I'll post more pictures after I get my camera back from Sat.

20 Months Old Today!

How is it possible that Addie is only 600 DAYS old and we couldn't image even ONE minute without her, let alone 1 day! She's such a joy and we are thankful for her everyday!

Pumpkin Patch 2008!

We took Addie to the Pumpkin Patch on Sunday. There were a ton of people and the weather was perfect! Most the pumpkins were heavier than Addie, but she tried to pick up each one anyway :) We are going again with cousin Emma later this month :) Here are some pictures.

Say YES to the DRESS

Does this dress look familiar? It should! 33 years ago Great Grandma Dot bought the dress for her first grand baby Kristy Clee, and it's been worn by every girl on my moms side since. Kristy, me, Katelan, Maya and now Addie. It's a little big on Addie but was actually very cute. Addie LOVED the dress and didn't want to take it off! But don't worry Aunt Kristy it'll be returned to you safe and sound! Too bad I don't have anyone else's pictures to post in the dress.

Mom/Kristy- Can you help out on that one?

More random items

Here are a few more pictures of Addie reading and her Halloween clip I made! She is very intense while reading her Elmo book and tries so hard to say all the words (she her lips!). Right now she loves Elmo and Telly!

Trial Run- Halloween!

We were very excited last night to find Addie's Halloween costume at our back door. Thank you UPS! Here is a few quick pics from tonight, notice the tail!

What am I doing right now?

I am cooking some homemade tomato basil soup! I also just got done making chicken enchiladas for tonight's dinner. All I have to do it stick it in the oven and the soup is for tomorrow. But yes the clean up hasn't started, it's been almost 8 YEARS since I've had a dishwasher! I wonder how many hours of my life has been wasted doing the dishes?

Addie is napping right now. She had a busy day painting at art class and then playing in the park. I'll take a picture of her first master piece and post later.

Adelaide's pictures

Hello,

We just got Addie's pictures this morning! Here is the link to the slideshow, turn your speakers up and enjoy! The slideshow will only be online for a few days and the gallery for a week. The first set of pictures are birthday pics at the house and the second at 18 month (she was really 19 months) at Warner Pacific College and the Crystal Springs Garden in SE Portland.

Although the pictures are great, it's also sad because my little girl is growing up so fast! Just see the difference 4 months can make!

Things............

Sorry it's been a week since a post. Here's a quick recap of the week:

  1. We started our Fall class at Music Together. Addie loves it! It's basically a much of moms (and dads) sitting around singing while the kids dance and play instruments

  2. We celebrated cousin Ike turning the big 1! Addie had a great time at Aunt Kate's and Uncle Chris's house. She loved playing with Zo and giving kisses to Ike. Cousin Ruby's big party is coming this Sunday! Why do they all grow up so fast?

  3. Addie is very interested in the potty and has gone several times in it! No number 2's yet, but she is thinking about it! She is also loving the shower! In the past I could turn on Cinderella or Sesame Street and have a good 10 minute shower alone, not anymore!

  4. She was spoiled with fun Halloween items from all the Grandmas! Grandma Kay made an adorable dress for her, we'll post a picture soon. Grandma Pam sent a cute halloween hat and ball and Grandma Judie gave her a "pop" book (a book with flaps, Addie likes to call pop). Can't wait to ready all the halloween books to her. THANK YOU!

  5. New things- Addie says "luv you" now! So cute!
  6. The pic above are fun letters/animals we put above Addie's crib. She loves the letters and will randomly say a few of them while she falls asleep at nap time. But her favorite is "dillo" for armadillo- A.
