House

Well first thing, thanks so much to everyone for the birthday wishes, had a great birthday!!!

We are still cleaning and trying to unpack, but here's the house. We are loving the space but also find it very difficult to get organized. The house is almost 3000 sf, with 4 bedrooms and a bonus/playroom! But it's not quite the style we love, so changes are already in the works, well at least in my head. I'll post pics of the fireplace and family room later, I need help with decorating ideas.

The best part of the house is actually the outside space. It's about a quarter acre and we are in a subdivision which it's rare in this area, we have the kids to play with but privacy and space! We share a protected greenbelt with 3 other neighbors. The greenbelt is wooded with trails and a couple wooden bridges, perfect for catching frogs and snakes (and yes Addie already has!).

Okay now if I can get things cleaned I can post more pictures ......

She couldn't be more happy.......

Wow it's been so overwhelming moving with 2 little ones! But it's been a blast (most of the time). We are getting settled after unloading a 24 foot truck and 9 (yes that was 9) truck loads of stuff! Most of the items are still in the garage as we noticed we had way too much stuff, but not much furniture (how does that happen??). Thanks to my sister and brother n law and dad for helping us so much!!

I'll post pics of the house soon, but here is Addie with her new best friend, who happens to be our neighbor. These are how the kids are all day!!

So many things

Oh my........it's been a long time since blogging or even writing in a journal. Where does the time go?? Matilda is almost 10 months (at her 9 month appt, 75% in weight and height, 19.6 lbs)and such a sweetie! She scoots around, not really crawling yet, which is nice since we are packing now. I think she is focusing on her verbal skills. She is always babbling! She loves to pull herself up and stand too. Just this last week she figured out how to sign milk, she'll grab me and start signing milk with a huge grin, it's the cutest thing!

Addie has been busy too! She's officially a preschooler next year. This last year was a 3/4 class and mainly play, learning how to listen and stand in a line, etc. Next year will be slightly more structured but still focus on learning by play. She's so funny and her imagination is awesome! At her Dr. appt she was just 34.4 lbs. So she's on the smaller scale :)

We are hoping to sign papers on Tuesday for our new house!! Should get the keys on Thursday, so keep fingers crossed! Can't believe we are moving after being here for almost 10 years! So many memories.........but very excited for the new place and new memories. We are hoping the transition will be smooth for us and both girls.

Things

It's been a busy couple of weeks since vacation. Easter egg hunts, visiting family, family pictures, house on the market, enjoying a few of the sunny days, and finding NEW things to do when the weather is poor, etc. Just a few pictures to share with everyone :)

Hope all the Moms out there have a wonderful Mother's Day!! I'm especially happy to be a mommy this year to my 2 beautiful little girls. They make all aspects of life brighter!

Highlights

We had a great vacation and Addie LOVED every minute of it. Matilda was great too, even though the weather was a bit HOT (95+). The resort was awesome, lunch at the castle, Kali River Rapids, Nemo show, Fantasmic, swimming and so much more! Here's a sweet picture of the girls on our way home.
