Cannon Beach again

Since our last trip to Cannon Beach Addie's been asking to go back to the "ocean", so we went on Sunday. It's pretty cute, when she asks to go somewhere and we can't at that exact moment (like the Zoo at bedtime) she'll tell me "maybe we can go next week". We had a blast with her and I think witchy did too!

A quick update

I'm so excited fall is right around the corner! I'm ready for the cool weather and all the pumpkins, leaves, and stews! Addie and I walked to Starbucks this afternoon for a pumpkin spice latte (she got a milk), but I soon realized it wasn't such a treat in 85 degree weather!

My explanation for the lack of blogging, Miss Addie has cut her nap time WAY DOWN! Her 3 hour naps have been replaced by an hour or so. But on a brighter note, she's been hilarious lately! Tonight we were singing our normal lullabies and at the end she announced "Not too shabby"!

Like the Belle dress? Cousin Maya cleaned out her closet and gave it to Addie last Sat. I think she's had the dress on since. And the scarf on her face, I cut the bottom of the dress so she her walk in it, and Addie decided the extra pieces made a perfect wedding veil (who's the groom you ask? Why her "Dream Prince" of course!)

Addie's "BIG" weekend

We moved Addie's crib out and her new BIG girl bed in! She loves it!!! Well she loved it until bedtime, then she informed me that her favorite bed in the house is "Mommy's". I think it turned out really cute and I'm excited to revamp her room!

After getting her asleep last night I crept in for a picture, isn't the camera flash amazing?

ABCs with Addie

Craigslist finds

I found these cute beds about 2 months ago on craigslist. I couldn't decide which one I liked better so I bought them both, all for only $30! We finally got them out on Sunday to paint and have Addie take a look. She's still in her crib, but that should be changing soon. Since Daddy was busy painting the beds, Addie and I got our paints out and had a great time too.
