Matilda turns 1!

Our little baby isn't quite so little anymore. We had her 1 year appt last week, she was in the 75th % in everything and doing great! She's a tough cookie too, didn't cry much with her shots, not at all on the 1st and stopped immediately after the last of 4 shots! She's so amazing and fills our life with joy and laughter! I love watching her and Addie play and connect, sisters are amazing!

She had an incredible 1st birthday and we were so blessed to have family and friends help celebrate our little apple turning 1!

Getting ready for fall and Matilda's birthday!

Remember when I said we've been busy? Well yep, roof maintenance/cleaning, repairing blocked gutters, cleaning windows, walkways, yard work and adding a little fall color!

Haircut and Pre-K

Addie got her first haircut recently! She was really nervous, but did a great job and really enjoyed it! She was so cute sitting in the chair, all grown up! She also started pre-k, which is big kid school according to her. She has homework every Friday and loves doing it when she gets home (hmm, wonder how long that will last?). So far we are loving this year and amazed at how much older she seems compared to just last year! And yes that's RED lipstick on her! She's obsessed with it and that stuff doesn't come off :( At least she waits on until after school to put the lipstick on!

Now, unfortunately, Matilda hates pre-k. She cries whenever Addie leaves and blows her a ton of kisses! It's pretty cute how excited she gets when we pick big sis up!

Coming up for air

Wow things have been so busy since we moved! We are still getting settled and just now looking at paint colors for the bedrooms! I was hoping the bathrooms and bedrooms would be done by Matilda's party (ha ha, what was I thinking?). Here are a few pictures from labor day weekend (our hottest weekend of the summer??). We went to the beach for the day and had a blast! Matilda LOVED the sand and we couldn't keep Addie out of the water, it was so fun.
