Catching up...

Well after a long and hard May and June, things are FINALLY starting to feel normal again! Here's a few pics of what we've been up too.......

-First Preschool where Mommy didn't attend!
-First visit to Chuckee Cheese (I know but there's only so many things to do when it'r raining!)
-First swim lessons again without Mommy
-Baby birds
-Pool time, sprinkler time, playdates

Mothers Day and It's a ...............

We had a great Mothers Day! Thanks to my wonderful husband for a decaf mocha first thing in the morning and a chocolate croissant! Later we celebrated with Grandma Judie and Grandpa Rolland, the weather was perfect and Addie had a blast with her water table. It was so nice to relax outside and enjoy the weather and company.

Here's a picture of me (and Addie), me at 20 weeks, and it's a GIRL!!! So excited Addie will have a sister and she loved seeing pictures of the baby. We are 99% sure of her name and so excited to start getting ready for her arrival in Sept. We have a big week at our house this week, so keep your fingers crossed for us :)

Cannon Beach- Anniversary Trip

Yep that's right, we've been married 9 YEARS!! Where has the time gone?? We usually take a trip for the Anniversary, even if it's such to Cannon Beach. Addie loves the beach and water! She had a blast so of course we did, check out her flying a kite. Who knew a 3 year old could do it on her own, she was so funny!!! We also had wild bunnies outside our room, which kept her busy trying to catch them and of course there was the pool. Overall a great weekend!!

A few pictures

We have a cute little spot in our neighborhood with beautiful flowers we take pictures at every year; this year the owners trimmed their tree so there weren't as many flowers and it was filled with tree trimmings, but we got a few pics. Funny she remembers going there last year and what she wore :)

New house

It was a great weekend! We got a ton of stuff done, but of course exhausted now. Addie's new thing, costume changes about 10 times a day and dressing herself or running around naked. It's pretty cute except when she wakes up at 5am and wants her Tiana dress, veil and slippers on right now! She also enjoys coloring on herself, she tries to write "punctual" on her arm (like Mulan), she definitely enjoys all Disney princesses. She's been so funny lately and we are amazed everyday what she comes up with!

Another fun note, Daddy got her playhouse built and all set up! We opted for a "starter" home (as Addie calls it) from Costco instead of building one since we are way short on time. The Costco house is actually really cute, comes with a BBQ, doorbell, phone, bench, puppets, basketball hoop and sand/water buckets. We put rubber mulch down under the house and all around. We also hung up shades in our living room, which is a big deal since we've been here almost 9 years :) Crazy huh!

We got a few surprises a few weeks ago from some very dear friends. Thanks so much!! Addie loves her robe and looks so grown up! Check out the beautiful fruit we enjoyed too!
