Christmas

I think each year gets better and better, we had such a wonderful Christmas this year and are so blessed to have family over for the holidays. We always kick off Christmas early at Grandpa Rick and Grandma Pam's house. They of course showered Addie with presents and filled our bellies with great food. Addie LOVES her vanity. She woke up the next morning at 5:30am asking to play with it and "get beautiful"!

Thanks so much!!

Getting ready for Christmas

Decorating the tree and TRYING to get Addie to smile for just ONE picture! Didn't work out too well, but good enough for the blog. Asking a (almost) 3 year old to still and smile is way too much! Random pics of the month, at the Grotto and playing at home.

For Aunt Katelan

Addie taking her nap today, her funny new habit is sleeping this way in her bed.

Christmas Excitement!

Addie is so excited for Christmas, I think it will be such a fun year! The new advent treasure box is a big hit! Already we've added our little fake Christmas tree downstairs, decorated her play area (although some of the decorations already fell off)and decorated the tree. But our mantel still needs some help, apparently fresh garland only lasts UP too 5 days.

Pics of the last couple of weeks....

I am thankful........

For so much! I am so thankful for my wonderful husband (not sure if he reads the blog anymore?) for getting up early every morning to work out, then coming home to play with his daughter before work, making me a yummy mocha (yes every morning!) and then working so hard at work so I can stay home and make our house a home. He really gets what life is all about and I'm a better person, wife and mommy for having him in my life.

Then of course there is our Adelaide! I am so thankful for her every single moment. She's the most thoughtful, loving, and caring (almost) 3 year old I know. Each day I'm more amazed by her heart and her personality. This week we've spent each morning doing an art project, Addie wakes up telling me "I'm so excited for my art project" and thanks me again for helping her.

And of course I'm so thankful for my family and friends who are always there to help and encourage us whenever we need it. Wish we could spend Thanksgiving with everyone! Miss you mom and Katiebear! (and Dustin, Dawn, Lukas and Ross)!

Happy Thanksgiving!

PS- I'm also thankful for naps, which is why I'm able to post :)
