Christmas is coming....

Are you ready? We are! Shopping is DONE, tree is up, Santa's letter was mailed, lights are up, and all the decorating is complete! How can it get any better than that?? I'm not even stressed about decorating the new house, I decided this year would be different. I would completely surrender and let my 4 year old daughter decorate! Yes sounds weird, but she LOVES it! Really that's an understatement, because she is all about decorating and making things look "fashionable". So with so many new things needed for the new house, I just gave up and decided I would work on craft projects this month and focus on ONE thing. Okay, 2 things, the tree and the garland for the stairs. It's been fun watching her imagination, here is one of my favorite creations by Addie....Christmas flowers in a vase.

Happenings at our house

Hello, yes we are still around! Just been too busy to download pictures, let alone post them. But finally a few minutes. Well it's been a busy November already and I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner! I'm so thankful for these 2 little girls! They are the best thing ever! Addie is Matilda's favorite person and I hope this never changes. She's the first person Matilda asks for in the morning and LOVES to sit at the counter and color with her. Seriously they play all day long and in the car hold hands! Sisters are so important!! Recently I've been talking with a friend on the pros/cons on staying home; this is one added bonus I didn't even think about. Their relationship and fostering it, if both girls were in daycare, they wouldn't see each other until night, wonder how that would change things?

On another note, we have a pet in our backyard. Matilda thinks it's our dog, but really it's a nutria. She loves it and looks for it all day, he visits us a few times a week for his meals. Last weekend Addie was surprised by Grandma Judie taking her to see the Pinkalicious musical! Thank you, it was so fun for her!
